Miraforge Studio

A creative workspace built around the work itself

Write, organize, explore, and develop complex creative projects without scattering them across disconnected tools.

Miraforge Studio is a desktop workspace for writers and other creative professionals. It brings the manuscript, lore, timelines, structure, relationships, and supporting material together inside a single project Archive.

The goal is simple: keep the tools close to the work, without letting the tools become the work.

An open manuscript on a worktable, surrounded by maps, index cards, drafting tools, and bound volumes.

Everything belongs to the work

Creative projects rarely live in a manuscript alone.

Characters accumulate histories. Places gain detail. Timelines become complicated. Ideas move. Scenes change purpose. Research piles up. Connections emerge that were never planned at the beginning.

Studio is designed around that reality.

Instead of treating those materials as separate files or separate applications, Studio keeps them together inside an Archive: a durable home for the work and the knowledge surrounding it.

Structure without forcing a method

Writers work differently.

Some plan extensively before writing. Others discover the story as they go. Some think in scenes, some in timelines, some in relationships, and some simply need a place to keep the growing mass of a project understandable.

Studio provides structure without prescribing a creative method.

Use as much or as little of it as the work requires. The tools are there to support the process, not dictate it.

Built for projects that grow

A novel can begin as a few pages and end with years of accumulated material.

Studio is being built for that entire journey.

Its deeper tools help you follow relationships, understand chronology, navigate large bodies of lore, and maintain context as the project becomes more complex.

The same Archive that holds an early draft can grow with the work rather than being replaced by a collection of increasingly fragile files and applications.

One Archive. One body of work. Many ways to understand it.

AI is optional. Useful is mandatory.

Studio is not built around generative AI, and AI is never required to use it.

Where AI is used, our standard is simple: it should solve a real problem.

That may mean helping locate information across a large Archive, checking continuity, organizing material, or handling work that would otherwise interrupt the creative process.

We are less interested in AI that generates for you than in AI that helps Studio understand the work you have already created.

The writer remains the author. The software remains the tool.

Built to become more than a novel-writing tool

Studio begins with long-form fiction because that is the problem we know best.

But stories and creative projects take many forms. Screenplays, stage works, serial fiction, tabletop campaigns, nonfiction, and other forms of structured creative work share many of the same underlying needs: content, knowledge, relationships, chronology, and organization.

Studio is being designed with that broader future in mind.

An open planning book with scene sketches, loose outlines, and stacks of reference volumes.
A closed journal with a compass rose, resting on maps, sketches, and bound volumes.

Keep the work together. Keep creating.

Miraforge Studio exists to reduce the distance between an idea and the work of developing it.

Fewer disconnected tools. Less time hunting for context. More confidence that the project remains understandable as it grows.

The software should help you hold the shape of the work in your mind — and then get out of the way.
